Laryngoscopy can check for pharyngitis, tonsil disease, epiglottis cyst, laryngeal papilloma, vocal cord edema, vocal cord nodules, vocal cord polyps, vocal cord malignancy and other diseases. Surgeries such as biopsy, foreign body removal, and polyp removal can also be performed under laryngoscopy.
