Drill pipe
The drill pipe is a tipped steel tube at the rear for connecting the drilling rig ground surface equipment to the drilling equipment or the bottom hole at the bottom of the well. Drill rods are used to transport drilling mud to the drill bit and raise it with the drill bit to lower or rotate the bottom hole device. Drill pipe must be able to withstand huge internal and external pressure, distortion, bending and vibration. Drilling rods can be used multiple times during the production and extraction of hydrocarbons. Drill pipe is divided into square drill, drill pipe and heavier drill pipe three categories. The order of connection is a square drill (1) + drill pipe (n, determined by the depth of the well) + heavier drill pipe (n, determined by the design of the drilling assembly). API standard grades E75 to S135, series of oil drill pipes with external diameters from 2 3/8 "to 6 5/8", double shoulder straps with high torsion resistance and special steel for sulfur-containing oil well Grade BNK C95S drill pipe. Mainly used in the process of oil and gas exploration and development of deep wells, horizontal wells and large displacement wells in the construction.
